  • Swanns Bridge Glamping sits on the banks of the River Roe, at the foot of Binevenagh Mountain.
  • River Roe– you can hire equipment such as kayaks, stand up paddle boards and a pedalo.  These activities are bookable through Long Line Surf School.
  • Outdoor activity centre– Limitless NI offers hovercrafting, powerturn buggies, archery, laser tag, clay pigeon shooting, football golf and team games. (5 minute drive)
  • Binevenagh Mountain– an area of outstanding natural beauty with walking trails and panoramic views over the coast and countryside.  You can walk/hike/cycle/drive through Binevenagh forest, up the mountain to the top.
  • Roe Valley Country Parka scenic park with woodland, riverside walks, and stunning views. (10 minute drive)
  • Limavady Museum– a small museum showcasing the history and heritage of the town and surrounding area. (10 minute drive)
  • The ‘Sea Wall’ at Lough Foyle– a flat walk which stretches from Ballykelly to the Roe estuary, about 10 miles in length. (5 minute drive)
  • Mussenden Temple– a striking clifftop temple built in the 18th century, offering sweeping views of the coast. (10 minute drive)
  • Downhill Demesne– a historic estate featuring a ruined castle, gardens, and scenic walks. (10 minute drive)
  • Bushmills Distillery– Ireland’s oldest licensed distillery where you can learn about the whiskey-making process and enjoy a tasting. (35 minute drive)
  • The Dark Hedges–  a beautiful avenue of beech trees that has become famous as a filming location for Game of Thrones. (40 minute drive)

  • Fishing– there is a lake at the top of Binevenagh which you can fish in, as well as the River Roe and Lough Foyle (permits required).
  • Mountain biking– Binevenagh mountain, Gortin Glen forest park and Davagh forest trails all offer a range of difficulty levels and stunning scenery.
  • Gliding– the Ulster Gliding Centre at Magilligan offers glider flights and training courses, allowing visitors to experience the thrill of soaring above the stunning landscape of the North Coast. (2 minute drive)
  • The Derry Walls– take a stroll on the historic city walls that encircle the city of. They are some of the best-preserved walls in Europe and provide excellent views of the city. (35 minute drive)
  • The Guildhall– the Guildhall is a stunning neo-gothic building that overlooks the River Foyle. It is home to the city’s council chambers and is open to the public for tours. (35 minute drive)
  • Bellarena Train station– provides services to and from Belfast and L’derry. It is operated by Northern Ireland Railways. (2 minute drive)
